- During the first part of the battle, you can prevent Razorbeard from jumping by standing near the edge of the arena. Video (at about 2:40)
- In the second phase of the battle, you can get infinite ammo as follows. Fly toward the top of the room. At the very top, there's a small circle. Turning the brightness up on your TV might help you see it. Fly into the circle while holding A and B. You'll be transported to a tunnel. Fly through the tunnel and any ammo you have will turn blue. From then on, you will have infinite ammo. If you don't have any ammo at that point, picking up ammo will give you infinite ammo. Video (#2)
- After knocking Razorbeard into the lava, you can shoot him to deal some additional damage.
