There is a way to do a Single-Segment any% run of the game, that probably requires certain small delays in the most of missions to do it, but there are some new tricks to do it faster at the beginning without having to be dissapointed with the entire run at the end.

As everyone can see, at the end of the 5th segment of Daniel "CannibalK9" Burns' run, he went to Bad Lands in 1:30. Well, that one is a segmented speed run, but there is a way to do it a bit faster in a Single-Segment run. Here's a list of the missions to do to get in the Bad Lands before 1:30. In the most of the attempts there are a few delays because of the damage received in certain missions.

This one is not a mission, but it's called "In the Beginning" because if you complete a side mission and get at least $10.000 you can buy a property and save your game, you discover that that's the real name of the mission 0 when arriving Los Santos. The route taken is almost the same, because the fastest way to get to Grove Street is by using the BMX near to CJ.

====Big Smoke (Sweet & Kendl)====

This is the first mission, you will have to smash very fast the LSHIFT button to skip more quickly the cut-scenes, so you pick up the BMX at 9:05 AM (the game's time). Don't leave the bike, it's quite useful for a recently discovered new trick that makes you able to make Sweet go faster with his bike. To do it, you have to push him from behind using your BMX with the super-sprint. Be careful, if there is a car blocking the road, and you are still using the "Sweet's bike's trick" Sweet will delay, and the Balla car will be able to reach you and probably will make you mayor injuries because you can't avoid the shots while doing this trick. The crucial mistake that Daniel "CannibalK9" Burns made at the first segment of his run is that he stole the pink car and messed the bike trick, and what's more, he went too far away from Sweet, making him delay (Sweet is so stupid that he goes slowly with the bike when you go too far away, instead of going faster to get nearer to you). Sometimes, at the start of this mission, Sweet is behind Ryder, and that makes more difficult to achieve the bike trick, because you will need to slow down a bit for prevent Sweet from doing a mistake and make a mayor delay.

This trick can be applied on Ryder, but is a bit more difficult because Ryder takes a very complicated path, sometimes he makes curves, and also you have to know the exact moment when he sprints, so that way you can save stamina to do it faster. To prevent the enemy car from reaching to your position, you have to use the bike trick, so that way Ryder and CJ will be at Ganton more earlier and the Balla car wouldn't be fast enough to reach you. If you do not use the trick to skip the enemy car, then you have to cycle on the side walk on the left, so the Balla car will even crash in a wall and that way you can complete the mission without long delays. When you go to the red mark to finish the mision, you have to leave the bike in movement (make sure you don't go too far away from Ryder before this, otherwise you will need to wait for him) so that way you can save some more seconds than stopping and leaving it, after skipping the cutscene. Once you complete the mission, use the super-sprint (smash the SPRINT button as fast as you can while holding the MOVE FORWARD button) to get into the Johnson house, and don't save your game, instead, move a few meters forward, turn around, and exit the house (you need to keep away from the door so that way the yellow mark will appear and you will be able to exit). Use the super-sprint to go to the red mark at Ryder's House's entrance, so that way you can skip the first phone call before it interrupts you.

====Ryder====

+
This one is one of the easiest missions of the game, the only difficult is to drive to Old Reece's Barber Shop without being hit by a car and delay some seconds (if you're thinking about using another shortcut, never mind it, it will make you waste more time) and get in Ryder's truck preventing from leaving him. You have to use Daniel's route because is the fastest way to get to the Barber Shop. But, when you go back to Ryder's home, you mustn't use the Daniel's route, and you have to go along the street on the left because there is a shortcut you can take driving on the grass around Ryder's house (make sure you avoid the obstacles). Once the mission finishes, use the super-sprint to get to the red mark in front of Sweet's house and stop sprinting when you are near it otherwise CJ will surpass it and you will delay.

====Tagging Up Turf====

At the beginning of this mission, you have to be careful to get in Sweet's car while using the super-sprint to prevent from a delay. Don't take Daniel's route this time, and go straight ahead until you are near the red mark. Once you're near and you've got a high speed, hold the handbrake button (SPACEBAR as default) while turning 200º counterclockwise. Pay attention, once you skipped the cutscene you have to use the super-sprint to get near the tag and print it (if you're too close CJ won't print it) and jump over the wall behind the house and print the other tag. Note: if you are close enough to the tag you're able to print it faster. Once you printed that one jump over the wall again, and use the super-sprint to run to Sweet's car, get in, and hold the CLAXON button to skip the door-closing sequence. Take Daniel's route to get to the next red mark, and, if you have enough practice, you can use a trick to stop the car a bit farther from the red mark. To use that trick, you have to hold the handbrake button and the brake/reverse button 1 second before crossing the red mark, so the red mark would start the sequence as if you were in it. It's normally not recommended to use that trick, if it doesn't works for you don't use it because it makes you delay some seconds.
