A level with a shard and a boss fight that takes some precise movement and Anklegator boosts to get through quickly.

Overview

Don't waste any time at the start of the level - immediately get up and roll left to get around the plants. Keep moving quickly, if you were fast enough the falling tree trunk shouldn't stop you. Continue on through the level until you reach the second vine wall, destroy this one with a Hammer overhand and a Musket shot. The next obstacle will be another tree trunk, this one takes roll damage in addition to another overhand+musket shot combo to destroy. The big flower that seems to be blocking the way behind the trunk can be rolled next to.

You will now have reached the Brusher's Pike. Pick it up if you're in New Game mode, as at this point it has more damage output than the Cael Hammer. The way you will move on from here depends on the category, and has some possible variations depending on what happens and personal preference.

Anklegator boosts, and reaching Queen Anne

The most important mechanic that governs the Roathus Lagoon which will let you get around the place fast, is the Queen Anne boost. Every time you walk in high grass, the local Anklegator dictator will pop out, dealing damage and knocking the Kid into the air(she's only trying to help). Since we can move in mid-air by rolling, this can be heavily abused to skip walls and move over big gaps. The big thing to remember is that the boost has a 'cooldown' - it can only happen once each few seconds. In addition, the first time it will become available will be a couple seconds after reaching the area with the Brusher's Pike.

If you manage to roll right at the same time as Queen Anne hits you, you will gain a bit more distance during the boost, but this is pretty precise and dangerous, since if you do roll too early, Anne will miss you with her attack. This is not required to get enough distance to fly over the first gap.
