- Diddy can get up the first slope as follows. Jump on the right side of the slope and use a standing attack. Jump again before the standing attack is over. If you're lucky, you won't get pushed backward by the slope (see this section). When you land again, do another standing attack. Repeat this process until you reach the top of the slope. If you jump and get pushed backward, you can reduce the amount of ground you lose by doing an aerial attack with good timing. Video (#2)
- DK can also get up the first slope:
- Run toward the slope and do a kick.
- Do a skid jump, jump, and aerial attack.
- Wait until you slide back, then jump. Hopefully, you'll be able to move forward (see this section). Repeat this a few times.
- As you approach the top of the slope, you will no longer be able to jump without being pushed back. When you're near this point, let yourself slide back, then do a jump.
- If you're lucky, you will have enough momentum to skid. Do a skid jump and jump, then do a slip jump and aerial attack to reach the top. Video (#8)
- The second slope is not slippery.
- You can skip shutting down the power as follows. With Chunky, swing across the lava, then stand on either side of the nearest computer on the right wall. Jump and roll toward the top edge of the computer. Hopefully, you will pull yourself through the wall and out of bounds. From there, you can walk around Tiny's and DK's Blast-o-Matic minigame rooms and jump back in bounds behind the K. Rool door. Video (#2)
- You can also skip shutting down the power with Diddy. Stand near the lava with vines over it, on the side closest to the entrance. Throw an orange against a nearby wall, then let it hit you to gain invincibility. Quickly perform the C-up glitch on the edge next to the lava, then run away from the lava before your invincibility runs out. From there, make your way to the back of DK's minigame room. Use a backflip to land on some ground there without going back in bounds. This will raise the height of the out-of-bounds floor (see this section). Now make your way to the back of Chunky's minigame room and use another backflip to raise the height of the out-of-bounds floor again. Finally, go behind the K. Rool door and backflip into the hallway. Video (#1)
- In the room before the Blast-o-Matic with the tube and the Tiny barrel, you can enter the tube as Tiny without using Mini Monkey by doing a well-timed Ponytail Twirl into the pipe. Video (#3)
- You can also get in with Diddy by just jumping at the pipe repeatedly, but it can cause the game to freeze. Video (#6 and #7)
- If you don't pick up the Banana Medals before leaving, they may disappear for good.
- In the room with the Battle Crown door, there is a computer that's to your right as you face the steering wheel. It's near a klaptrap. By jumping onto the edge of it, you can fall through. You can then walk out of bounds, jump into the room behind the coin door, and get the key. Sometimes, however, the key doesn't count in your inventory. It is believed that by walking through the area that contains the coin door, you "activate" the key so that it counts in your inventory if you pick it up. Walking under the coin door seems to achieve the same effect. Video (#13)
- One caveat to the above trick is that the timer keeps running until you either shut the power down or get to a certain point in the credits. In a single-segment run, this is problematic. You can get the key, kill yourself with oranges, glitch out of bounds, walk out of the level through the entrance, and defeat K. Rool, but this requires a significant number of blueprints. See the trick below for a middle ground between playing every minigame and skipping them all.
- Only Diddy's minigames need to be beaten to turn the power off. You can get to Diddy's room without beating any other kong's games as follows: Jump into the computer as in the trick to get the key, then go behind the barrel where K. Rool is seen watching "TV" in various cutscenes. Jump up to the wooden floor to raise the height of the out-of-bounds floor (see this section). Then go to one of the corners of the key room and carefully jump onto one of the pieces of metal, being sure to stay out of bounds. This will raise the height of the floor enough for you to backflip into Diddy's room. Make your way through the OoB area, being sure not to fall back in bounds, and backflip up to Diddy's room. Video
