• You can use STVW on several of the walls in the pool of water in the training area to get into the main area without opening the gate. Although you can leave without beating the training barrels, Cranky will not give you the Simian Slam or sell you anything until you finish them. In addition, you will not be able to use the moves learned in them until you finish them. Video
• You can use STVW on the invisible wall behind X Island. Video (#6)
• You can use STS to enter the Banana Fairy island with any kong. This allows you to get the camera and the shockwave move at the beginning of the game. Video (#3)
• You can use STS or STVW to get to Chunky's Golden Banana next to warp 3. If you are Hunky Chunky, you can simply jump at the wall of the cave to get out. Video (#1)
• By doing a ceilingkick from a rock, DK can get the rainbow coin above the Angry Aztec lobby. Video (#1)
  • Diddy can get the rainbow coin without using the Rocketbarrel as follows. First, use a moontail to get on top of the door frame. Then crouch and slide off. Before you hit the ground, do a backflip to get to the top of the lobby. Video (#2)
• DK can enter Tiny's bonus barrel in the Angry Aztec lobby by using his kickjump combo from the upper ledge or a moonkick from the stairs. If he completes the game inside, Tiny can grab the Golden Banana without Pony Tail Twirl.
  • Diddy can use a moontail to enter the barrel as well.
• DK can reach the Bongo pad in the Frantic Factory lobby without Gorilla Grab as follows. Stand on the platform that moves up and down after you use Gorilla Grab. Use the C-up glitch to get inside the platform. Use a ceilingkick to reach the upper level of the lobby. Video (#4)
• Tiny can get her Golden Banana in the Gloomy Galleon lobby with STVW so that Chunky doesn't need to pound the switch. Video
• DK can get his Golden Banana in the Crystal Caves lobby without using Strong Kong by using a grenade to give himself invincibility. Video (#2)
• Diddy can reach the Guitar pad in the Crystal Caves lobby without the Rocketbarrel as follows. Use a backflip to get onto the large crystal near the Guitar pad. Then use a moontail to reach the ledge with the pad. Video (#5)
• You can get the rainbow coin in the Creepy Castle lobby with DK as follows. Stand on the lowest part of the sloped platform near the portal and face the higher part. Jump backwards, then move forwards and moonkick to the rainbow coin. It is necessary to jump backwards first because the slope is not long enough for you to run up it. Video (#11)
  • You can also get to the rainbow coin with a ceilingkick from the rock. Video (#5)
• Several kongs can get to the room in the banana fairy island with the Rareware banana. Use the C-up glitch to land inside the wall of one of the pools. Slowly approach the water until you start swimming, then swim into the air. Use STVW to get through one of the walls, then walk or swim to the room with the banana. Unfortunately, the banana disappears if you get too close unless you have captured all of the fairies. Video
• DK can use a ceilingkick from the rock in the room with Snide's HQ to reach Diddy's bonus barrel. If you beat the minigame with DK and then tag Diddy, you can get the Golden Banana without Simian Spring. Video
  • You can also put the rock below the barrel, jump on the rock with Diddy, and use a moontail to reach the barrel. Video
