Power Bomb Expansion

The power bomb expansion in dynamo chamber can be quickly obtained anytime Samus has Space Jump (So if ILS was done, then you can get this power bomb expansion almost immediately after doing ILS). This requires a short wallcrawl to obtain the power bomb while out of bounds.

Temple Assembly Site

The quickest and most common method to get into the secret world is in Temple Assembly Site. Above the door to the elevator is a grated ceiling that Samus can easily space jump up to. To the left of the giant tree is a raised rock just out of reach of normal space jumping. Do a ghetto jump along the giant tree; your first jump must clear the giant trunk on the left. Use your second jump after clearing the trunk to land on that rock. Turn to the right and space jump forward to fall into a gap that will let Samus fall out of bounds.

Tips

  • The first jump is the most important part of the trick, as it gives you enough height to clear the trunk without sliding down it. If you find yourself sliding down to the left, then you aren't getting enough height from the ghetto jump.
  • The left edge of the rock is slightly lower than the rest of it, so aiming for the left edge will make it easier to land on.

Dynamo Chamber

Wallcrawl to Dynamo Chamber and get on top of the alcove with the power bomb tank. (Whether The easiest way is to climb on top of the skywalk of Dynamo Chamber, then morph when you're above the alcove (but there are faster methods). Once on top of the alcove, bomb jump until you touch the bottom right corner of the power bomb tank from above; you should have collected the power bomb tank.

What you do next depends on what route you are using. If you are skipping Violet Translator for the beginning of the game, then wallcrawl back to Temple Assembly Site and wallcrawl to the elevator to Agon.

If you want to get back in bounds, there are several methods to get back in bounds quickly, but they depend on whether the gates are up or down. They will be up in any%, as you will not have scanned the post to bring them down; they will be down in 100% since you should be here after already having gone to agon.

If the gates are up, make sure the game is transitioned on Dynamo Chamber, then jump into the wall opposing the scan target and scan it. The game will warp you back in-bounds. Unload Temple Assembly Site by rolling back across the room, then proceed as usual.

If the gates are down, make sure the gate is transitioned on Temple Assembly Site, then just ceiling warp at the slant in front of you above the second floor.

Seeker Missiles

In any%, Seeker Missiles can easily be obtained immediately upon entering Meeting Grounds because you already have Boost Ball. However, leaving Hall of Honored Dead (the room where you obtain Seeker Missiles) is a different story; you cannot merely leave through the purple lock and go to Torvus, as there is a green door in the way and you generally do not have super missiles yet. There are three methods to get out.

  1. Do a midair instant morph into the morph ball tunnel you came out of when entering the room. To set it up, stand facing away from the tunnel, centered, then jump back without pressing L. Delay the second jump, then morph immediately after the second jump while holding back. With proper timing, you will get an instant morph and roll backwards through where you came from.
  2. Screw attack into the morph ball tunnel you came out of. This is viable if you used the Grapple-Skip route.
  3. Go back to your ship. Do the trick for ILS to get out of bounds then wallcrawl back to Meeting Grounds. This is significantly slower than merely rolling backwards through the morph ball tunnel, and is not recommended.

Gravity Boost

You can quickly get gravity boost immediately after getting super missiles in Torvus Bog, without needing boost ball or seeker missiles.

In Hydrodynamo Station, there are three scan targets to unlock the path to Gravity Boost; the lowest scan target is easily accessible. The other two normally require you to go around lower torvus and come out of their respective doors to scan them from the correct side. However, both scan targets can be reached by a precise underwater dash from the surface of the water.

After all three scan targets are scanned, you can easily head down to get Gravity Boost.
