There are no different endings or known tricks such as death abuse, major glitches or warps. Speeduns are therefore mainly/only done in the any% category. The gameplay is identical in NTSC-U and -J. The PAL-version has been slowed down according to the normal ~5/6 rule without any changes made to the layout or game mechanics. However, the slower speed means that it lags significantly less. A very rough estimate gives roughly 1000 more lag frames in the NTSC-version. This results in slightly different routing for the two versions.
