Route
- Obtain and equip the Cracked Bat. Even if luck manipulation is used to avoid fights, the Cracked Bat should be equipped to avoid extra dialogue from Pokey. Equipping the bat saves about 140-150 frames over the extra dialogue.
- After daybreak, withdraw money to afford at least one Skip Sandwich ($38) from the Bakery. The ATM in the hotel is slightly faster than the ATM in the drugstore.
- Return to the cliffs east of Ness's house, and use the Skip Sandwich to cross it.
- Check the north-east corner of the area, and use the check area glitch to open the debug menu.
- The debug menu items appear in gibberish, possibly because the menu is intended to be in Japanese. Select the item "IBNT" (Goto event) and enter event 69 to go to Picky knocking on Ness's door.
