Dragonball Z Legacy of Goku

Hey, this is Seamus O'Connor talking about a game that I think is perfect for attempting speed runs. Dragonball Z: The Legacy of Goku is the first installment in a series of games for the GBA system that are based on the popular and famous television show: Dragonball Z. This game, unlike the television show, received much critisism for the bad graphics (even compared to other games made in 2002 for the GBA), format that seemed unfit for DBZ, and flaws that included such things as: the main character Goku, who was a formal world martial arts champion, not being able to defeat simple animals like wolves at the start of the game, as well as having Goku learn his signature Kamehameha wave at KingKai's place, even though fans of the show recall that he actually learned this move when training as a child. Nevertheless, the game is still remembered by many because it gave rise to two games which are considered by many to be two of the best games that were ever created for the GBA system: DBZ Legacy of Goku II, and DBZ Buu's Fury. Despite the critizism, I still enjoy this game because of the sentimental value to the show that was an integral part of my childhood, and for the fact that it makes a killer game for trying speed runs. My current best is about 61 minutes, despite my attempts to beat an hour. In truth, even that run was a bit sloppy... I have no doubt that if I keep trying, I can get down near 55 minutes, but I would be willing to bet that there are those who could probably get as low as 50 minutes. I haven't created a video for it yet, but I created this page asking that anyone who feels that they can beat an hour please create a video or I will be forced to. :)
