General advice

  • This guide does only contain the current knowledge, therefore you should not trust it blindly. When you have an idea for a shortcut try whether it is possible.
  • The PC version is recommended because the game can be controlled a lot better and that version is faster (loading times).
  • Hold JUMP in any of the vehicle levels except for the last one (plane) to drive faster.
  • This guide does not contain any special information about health management.


Route

The routes of the levels are pretty simple. It's mostly going right, sometimes you have to use a path in the background and very rarely you have to actually go left.

This guide only explains the not so obvious things, make sure to watch the video to see the complete route.


Level 1: Müller's Domain

You are forced to collect all 100 coins in this level in order to continue.

There are also several help tips by Milou which you can skip by holding ENTER while running or jumping towards him.


Press UP while standing in front of it to deactivate the machine near the tree.

When jumping into the hole with coins stop holding right when falling into the hole to avoid holding on to the right wall.

When you get to the area with the pushable stone roll it away before collecting the coins in this area. This stone rolls really slow and takes quite some time to reach the place where it stops.

In the area with the door in the background you will have to knock out the enemy in order to unlock the door.

Level 2: Set Sail for Ben Moore

Avoid hitting any of the obstacles.

1st path decision: both are equally fast


Level 3: The money forgers

While jumping over the slippery stones hold DOWN. This way you will not trip on them because you will not run after landing.

Near this are before you have to climb up, you have to jump onto a stone platform on the right. You have to walk a bit to the right before turning left, jumping and holding UP to hold on to the plant.

After the checkpoint you have to push a stone away. To jump onto the lower platform next to it you have to jump while not standing under said platform.

Right after the swinging part just run off the ledge of the platform and hold on to the plant. Then do a low jump to the right to land on the other stone platform. Finally jump to the right. Stop holding right when you are in front of the big fissure in the background. This way you should consistently land on the second last wood piece in the water.

When reaching the diagonal slippery grass platforms you have to wait shortly after turning around on the stone platform. Then you can jump onto the diagonal platform to the left.

When sliding down the diagonal platform on top just jump in the hole where the coins are.

Now at the next plant climbing part you can only jump up the plant on the top left by jumping to the right and back towards the plant. Otherwise you will fall through it. After swinging and holding onto the next plant do a short jump towards the stone platform. Then immediately jump up to climb along the tree.
You have to continue climbing until you are at least in front of the sixth leaf from the right side. Then you can manually let go of the tree and continue going right.

When inside the cave and going to the left don't grab the branch, just jump onto the middle stone platform normally. Then before holding onto the wall land on the ground in front of it and do a maximized jump before holding left to avoid some climbing.

After crouching through the tunnel there is a high chance that you can jump over the enemy by jumping from the right edge of the stone platform.


Level 4: Boss Ranko

Making the monkey move to the right or left right after throwing a stone seems to cancel his jumps onto the ground.

You have to wait until the path to the middle is completely free before sending Milou, just wait until the monkey has the last stone in its hands before pressing ATTACK.

You can easily skip the third cycle by hitting ATTACK again right after hitting the boss a second time.


Level 5: Sharks!

Avoid hitting any of the obstacles.

1st decision: both are equally fast
2nd decision: go left
3rd decision: go right


Level 6: The Eagle Cross

Jump over the seconds boats remains, otherwise you will trip.

When you have to jump at the vines, jump at the second vine and skip the first one.

After the checkpoint you have to jump a bit higher than the branches are to grab them.

After climbing up the stone just run off the ledge to the right. Then spam JUMP to avoid tripping over the roots at the bottom.

You can jump over the hole with three coins above and several coins in it by running to the edge of the hole and then doing a maximized jump.


Level 7: Crossing the Desert

Avoid hitting any of the obstacles.

At the beginning don't push LEFT or RIGHT, you will automatically avoid the nearby obstacles and drive the left way.

1st decision: both are equally fast
2nd decision: go left
3rd decision: both are equally fast


Level 8: The Emir's Son

Don't use any of the balks near the beginning area.

After the giant bush with a balk far above it use the second balk above. Do a maximized jump to the right, then in air turn back left and hold UP. If done right you reach the edge of the platform and climb up.

Collect the cloth in front of the small cupboard in order to be able to go inside the chimney.

You can jump over the gas coming from the pipe with the right timing.

After jumping onto the high stone platform near the checkpoint, you can jump over the next enemy when he is close enough to the platform.


Level 9: Boss: Müller

Right after entering the level jump over the box to the right.

The boss will throw a rocket or green square bomb to the area where you spawned.


Start pushing the first box towards the middle by holding ATTACK. Continue until the first rocket he throws is about to hit you. THen go to the box on the right and push it.

The boss will now throw another object towards the area where you were before and you can easily push the box towards the middle. Stop again just before the next rocket is about to hit you and go back to the first box.

Push it towards the middle completely now, don't stop holding ATTACK until smoke is coming from the box. Then wait for a rocket to not explode, pick it up by jumping in front of it and throw it towards the smoking box by pressing ATTACK in front of it.


Go back to the second box and push it completely to the middle. Wait here for a non exploding rocket too and destroy the box.


Go to the right and push the third box as soon as possible (Just hold ATTACK while running to the right). Continue until the next rocket is about to hit you. Then release ATTACK and go to the right side of the box and continue pushing it until it's smoking.

Then wait for the final non exploding rocket and destroy the last box.


Level 10: Lunar Expidition

Don't get stuck at walls or stones.

Sliding over ice seems to be faster than normal driving.

When you are at the part with the sharp corners on ice let go of JUMP while turning around to avoid hitting the walls.

1st path decision: Take the left way and stay on the right to only drive over two holes.

2nd path decision: Left (path with coins)

In the final area drive to the right, then go left behind the last stone.


Level 11: Lost on the Moon

After passing the small stone while beeing chased by the big stone you can do a short jump over the gap. This way you can avoid having to stop for a moment to land safely on the platform.

Don't jump too early after the checkpoint to avoid touching the big stone (= instant death).

Jumping from ice parts to normal ground seems to be faster than walking to it.


After swinging at the stone jut in the cave do a big jump to avoid holding onto the stone stick.

At the part where there are two of those stone sticks you can avoid one of them, avoiding the first one is safer because you can easier jump into the spiky stone which falls down.


When you reach the stone ladder spam JUMP to climb it up really fast. At the top hold UP to climb up the ledge.

When reaching the left edge jump towards the stick but stay left to it. Don't go too far left otherwise you will land on one of the side platforms. If done right you will land on the ice on the ground of the cave.

The ledge of the first ice part is a bit hard to see, use the coins as a visual cue.


Level 12: Boss Jörgen

Wait in front of each of the entrances until the arrows appear. Then press ATTACK when the boss makes the "Ouff" noise. Wait shortly and then press ATTACK again to go into the middle. If done right you should reach the buttons without falling to the ground.

Avoid the objects the boss throws, go to the right after each button.


Level 13: Hijackers

Avoid all of the obstacles.

1st decision: Go left
2nd decision: Go left
3rd decision: Go left


Level 14: In the Heart of the Volcano

You can avoid having to stop on the small platforms in front of the grenade throwing guy by doing short jumps.

Jump into the cave entrance to get hit by the second bat wave in air.

After using the door inside the stone head go right and activate the checkpoint. Then go left, collect the cloth and fall into the hole on the right.

In the lava part with one spiky stone hanging from the top of the cave jump at said stone and climb up until you collect the top coin. Then do a big jump to the right, you should land on the safe platform next to the lava sea.

In the water part it is very risky to jump while there's water in the air because it will slow you down and you might not reach the next stone. This part requires quite precise jumps.

The last jump to the ladder is failsafe, just do a big jump and hold RIGHT, you will always get to the ladder.


Level 15: Boss Rastapopoulos

Instantly hit ATTACK after starting the level. Then go right and press down the next stone face. Go right and activate the third stone face, when coming back to the foreground you will be hit by the spiky stones. If you were fast enough you can activate the 4th stone face before the white bullets hit you.

Go to the left and wait under the giant row of spiky stones. This is the onliest part which can further hurt the boss.

Easy Mode: Just wait at that part, the run is almost done.

Normal Mode: Jump over the boss to avoid getting hit by him. He will then rage and keep standing under the spiky stones. Before he is hit go behind the single spiky stone left or right from the giant row of stones and wait there. Then repeat jumping over the boss, going behind the stone, etc.
