Current Fastest Time
Route
The route doesn't differ much from the Any % route. You should follow the same route for most of the levels.
You can collect coins that are on your route anyways but that you have to jump to.
Play Level 1 to Level 8 like you would do in an any% run.
When you reach the dinosaur defeat him in order to get the second life power up.
After that complete Level 11 first, then go to Level 10.
In order to collect 7800 coins you have to play this level 12 times.
Recommended setup:
- Hide and show the timer at the beginning of the level.
- Skate without holding down at the beginning until you reach certain parts in the level or timestamps. Then start playing the level normally.
- Collect as many coins as you can per iteration.
If done right you should collect 200+ coins each time you play the level and get another 200 coins by beating the level record. You might have to adjust the strategy by using faster routes with less coins in order to still beat the level record.
After you have 7800+ coins go to the gallery. Jump over the information sign and buy all pictures.
Then leave the gallery and jump over the information sign again.
Go into the basement and use the furnace to get to the last floor. Then play Level 12 normally.
Collecting coins
The biggest difference between Any% and 100% is that you defeat the dinosaur and collect 7800 coins. In order to collect coins the fastest way possible, you should beat level records over and over which will give you 200 coins each time. Additionally you should collect as many coins as possible in the level itself.
Number of coins in each level
In order to properly route the money collecting part, you need to know the total number of coins in each level:
Level 1: 245 Level 2: 188 Level 3: 243 Level 4: 213 Level 5: 0 Level 6: 183 Level 7: 184 Level 8: 228 Level 9: 0 Level 10: 237 Level 11: 158 Level 12: 0
Techniques
Buying portraits
If you buy a portrait Pink Panther will make a "dance" and there will be a money animation. You can abort the animation by looking at the picture ("Grab") and going back to the game ("Hide").
So the fastest way to buy portraits is:
- Spam "Hide" to buy the picture
- Spam "Hide" again to close the picture
- Spam "Grab" to look at the picture
- Spam "Hide" to close the picture again
This is slightly faster than waiting for the animation to finish.
