General tips

• Dashjumping is always more faster than dashing in the ground.
• As Zero: Killing the less enemies possible always saves times.
• Getting hit to pass through big enemies is always faster.
• As Zero: Never use saber attacks that makes the game lags, the timer still runs normaly.

Tricks and Glitches

Saber Dash Cancel (SDC)

As Zero: This move consist on using the first slash and dash alternatively on bosses or enemies (This can also be done in X5 and X6).

The game doesn't lag when doing it, also bosses don't get invincible barriers when you hit them with it (Except Frost Walrus and Cyber Peacock).

It's also recomendable to use it on doors like in Sky Lagoon and Volcano.

Extra Move in the Air

This is a trick can only be done in X4.

It consist on getting an extra Dash, Jump, Hover or Nova Strike in the air. Just follow this video here.

Just get hit in the air after performing a dashjump, air dash, second jump, hover or nova strike.

Dash Speed After Ryuenjin

You only need to press dash and quickly do a Ryuenjin, if done correctly you will get dash speed afterwards, if done correctly, you can't double jump or air dash until you touch ground. Demonstration.

Invincible Web Spider Glitch

As X: Use Charged Twin Slasher in the beginning of the battle, and Web Spider will be invincible, and the match can't end.

Passing Through Web Spider's Invicibility Barrier

As Zero: Doing this glitch makes Web Spider's Invincibility Barriers dissapear for a second, meaning that you can cut his life bar to half.

To do it, it is needed to hit Web Spider as he goes up to the tree, then he warps to another spot in the tree, you need to hit him at this point.

As X: Same as Zero but you need the Arm Plasma Part. Wait Spider to go out of the screen, and shoot a full charged Plasma Shoot, if done correctly, one of the Plasma balls will still be damaging Spider, reducing his life quickly.

It is recommended to get the Nova Strike, shoot Spider just before he goes up, then use Nova Strike after he warps, if done correcty, Spider would lose 40-50% of his life bar.

Passing Through Storm Owl's Invicibility Barrier

This one consist on passing through Storm Owl's Invincibility Barrier for a short while.

You have to make him do his 4 Orbs Attack, and wait until he shoots the fourth one. Hit him after his animation changes (the throwing orb one), and you can do continous damage for a while.

NOTE: Storm Owl do 2 different animations after shooting an orb, make sure you hit him in the animation just after the throwing orb one.

Skiping First Capsule at Storm Owl's Stage

This trick consist on skiping the conversation with Dr. Light on the first capsule.

Just jump over it, then when you pick the second capsule, use Web Spider to pass over it.

Skiping Split Mushroom's Midboss

As X: To do this you need Foot Part (or Nova Strike), Arm Part and Rising Fire (Dragoon's Weapon).

What you need to do is put yourself in the corner just before the midboss platform, jump do charged Rising Fire then use Air Dash (or Nova Strike).
