The map for area 1 is without hidden items and some secret items are missing in the other maps. No targeted research has been made to find all hidden power-ups in all areas, but the following has been verified through memory analysis:
- There are no hidden power-ups before the helicopter in area 1.
- There are no additional hidden power-ups in the first half of area 2 (at which point you should already be fully upgraded in a speedrun).
- There is one additional heart in area 3 not shown in the map, but it's out of the way.
In addition to above, the area 2 map has been redone to include all hidden items (including point items). Memory analysis has been used, so all hidden items should be shown.
