This page probably needs proper formatting and stuff. Can probably be copy/pasted to "Civilization V/glitches" and linked to from this page.

Glitches

Peacetime war declaration and Diplomacy camera control:

Open "do you wish to declare war" dialogue by moving unit into enemy territory. While the do you wish to declare war dialogue is up, control game using hotkeys. I believe that basically everything that would normally prevent you from ending your turn is possible to control except for choosing building production and unit promotions, and if save unit promotions is on I think (but have not really tested) that having unit promotions available will not prevent you from ending your turn, so all you have to do is set all cities to wealth or plan ahead.

Useful hotkeys

741963 - move unit in directions F - fortify/garrison/sleep unit B - build city F1 - F9 - various overviews F10 - F11 - quicksave Home/End - cycle cities ,/. - cycle units

Update gamestate plz

If you cannot do stuff due to lack of updates (when certain screens are open), open and close the civilopedia with F1 and try again.

Annexing pls do stuff

If you cannot do stuff while annexing/razing/puppeting city, view city. Furthermore view city military overview click on unit closes the view city while allowing you to continue doing stuff, making it easier to see what you are doing

No unhappiness penalty

Glitch found, not entirely sure what caused it. Something like while the Annex, Raze, or Puppet screen is up, trade the city with another player. Then when you capture further cities they are automatically annexed and contribute no unhappiness. Needs testing. Maybe it occurs when you have the annex raze puppet screen up and the city gets taken from you. I didn't really notice it until a while after doing the glitch, when I had a totally ridiculous amount of happiness.

Unit stack with city

If there is a unit on top of one of your cities, and you have someone's borders, and you give them your city, then your unit will be on top of the enemy city.

Unit stack with unit

If there is a unit on top of an enemy city, and you order it to swap positions with one of your units, instead your units will stack.

Unit stack with enemy unit

If two units are stacked, and you gift one of them to an enemy, they remain stacked.
