This is the tutorial level that introduces you to the basics of movement and combat.
Animus
You start out in a messed up version of Altaïr's world with voice overs and various commands popping up. Nothing to do here, it's a scripted time event so you can do whatever you want until they pull you out of the Animus.
Back at Abstergo there's a cutscene where you talk to the doctors until they put you back under for the tutorial. Again you just have to wait.
Tutorial
This is a series of explanations of how the game works and you basically just do whatever the computer tells you to. As long as you do everything as soon as you're told, the only parts where you can save time are when you're moving.
- Look for gaps when pushing through the jar carrier women, as you can get hung up on them. Sprint to the light circle when you're through.
- When you have to alert the guard with a high profile action, just run straight to the ladder behind him where you need to go anyway, and this will count.
- When blending to get through the guards, sprint until the last second, then hit blend and you'll run most of the way through. Obviously sprint after getting through.
Solomon's Temple
Pretty easy section, just sprint across the beams, jump down to Robert de Sable when you can and sprint/climb up to the top after he throws you out of the room. The only dicey part may be climbing the wall at the end, as Altaïr's climbing is kind of awkward in some cases.
Masyaf
As soon as you get into the city there's a cutscene with some guy welcoming you back to town. Just walk by him and up the hill to break out of the cutscene. Sprint up the hill and jump toward the guy at the top to start him talking sooner, then sprint the rest of the way up to Al Mualim.
After the cutscene drop over the railing and run outside. Dropping over the railing versus jumping from it to the stairs and turning around is debatable as far as speed, so some testing may be required. After a cutscene where they tell you to help repel the Templars, run down the hill where you'll be engage. Immediately unlock target and run past him. Get down to the bottom of the hill without stopping to fight any Templars and the invasion will end.
Run to the tower and climb the ladders to the top and head immediately to your platform. As soon as you perform the leap of faith, jump out of the haystack and book it across the beams to the wall at the end. Climb the tower, break the wall at the top with your sword and end the memory block.
Abstergo
As in all parts where you control Desmond, don't talk to anyone, just go to bed.
