This paragraph just says what deinterlace option not to use, it doesn't say what to actually pick. This doesn't really help people that are not very into video encoding as they will no doubt be confused over what to pick. Also, looking at some posts at the tech support forum I see that several people have deinterlaced their videos when they shouldn't have. I don't know if they read the kb or not before doing so, but since the general advice being the second link of the main page chances are pretty good they got that far. I think this paragraph needs to be clarified abit more and linked to a relevant page explaining when to and when not to deinterlace (the text in part 5 of the [[AviSynth]] page covers this). /[[User:Moooh|Moooh]] 15:41, 25 April 2009 (CDT)

Agreed, Moooh. Really, vdub should not be used at all for deinterlacing. Feel free to make it more clear.

This article is aimed at people knowledgeable about video encoding. It could probably use a little laymanization (yes, I just invented a word). Manocheese
