The slider kind of sucks; you can use the arrow keys to get more precision. As you can see in the picture I've decided to start the cut at the menu screen, and have yet to specify an end point which I'm sure you can handle by yourself now. DO NOT leave extra footage at the beginning or end of the video. This has the potential to cause audio/video desync. Make sure you don't cut out something you want to keep, though.
