== Stage 1 ==<br />
Stage 1 is very random and can be much more difficult than Any% at times. Not being able to use barrier will require you to destroy the alien turrets that come out of the ground. Do this by timing 2 jumps that will both allow you to hit the turrets, or 1 jump that will require a downward shot. Continue past the first wall and use the tank to get past the second wall. Once you reach the section after the tank you will have to wait for the fire to shoot up from the ground. For the tank mini-boss, stand on the right side of the screen and quickly weapons switch for a quick kill. Complete the rest of the level the same way as Any% until you reach the boss.<br />
The boss is extremely random. The best pattern would be one that does not require you to jump a lot. You also do not want the turtle to try and head-butt you or fire its mouth laser. This wastes a lot of time, but unfortunately it's completely out of your control. Stay on the left side of the screen to give yourself some reaction time, and fire continuously while avoiding all the attacks.
