=General Movement=
==Climb Skipping==
http://www.twitch.tv/honorablejay/c/3485415
The animation system in Arkham Asylum is designed so that Batman's movements are as smooth as possible. By abusing this, it's possible to make Batman jump farther than the developers intended. To start, find any ledge where Batman will jump just short of the destination. This will normally cause him to grab onto the ledge and climb up.
#Turn the camera anywhere from 45 to 90 degrees away from the ledge.
#Run at the ledge as normal
#If the stars align, profit!!
If done correctly, Batman's animation system will cause him to stand on air just over the edge of the platform and perform the jump farther ahead than normal. This will make his jump longer and completely skip the climbing animation.

==Quick Attacks==
http://www.twitch.tv/honorablejay/c/3485518
During fights, most players will spam the attack key as fast as possible, which is incredibly inefficient. Instead, wait for an attack to land, and just as it connects press attack to immediately unleash the next hit. It takes some patience and practice, but if you wait for an attack to land then immediately hit attack again, Batman will immediately throw another attack without delay. This allows you to string attacks together quickly against single or multiple targets.

==Roll Cancel==
http://www.twitch.tv/honorablejay/c/3485690
Batman has many mandatory animations. Flinching from explosions, standing up after a ground pound, etc etc. By initiating a dive roll just as one of these mandatory animations is supposed to happen, the animation is completely canceled by the roll. This allows you to keep Batman moving and waste as minimal time as possible.

==Fall Cancel==
http://www.twitch.tv/honorablejay/c/3401030?t=1m45s
When falling from a sufficient height, Batman will save himself by spreading his cape to slow the fall (which also wastes quite a bit of time). If the use/glide key is pressed and held just before the cape spread animation, Batman will attempt to glide but immediately land due to how fast he's falling. This allows you to quickly land from heights and continue without stopping. The fall save cape animation is one of a few animations that cannot be skipped with a roll cancel.

==Understanding Analog==
Quoting a forum post from 12/13/2013:

[[File:Baa_analog.jpg]]
Just to make sure it's documented somewhere, I wanted to go over a little known "feature" of Arkham Asylum that we figured out tonight.

First, some history (and a graphic to help demonstrate). Green is the center (0,0), the blue dots represent 100% +-x/+-y at the corners for the classic analog design. The red dots show the maximum range of current analog sticks.

In the early years of analog joystick gaming, developers and hardware manufacturers utilized a square design for the analog stick's movement. This meant that game developers could directly read the x/y coordinates that the hardware was reporting and immediately use that data in a game to determine turning/walking/etc speeds. No matter what direction the stick was moved in, the developers could depend on the stick always being able to use 100% of the x/y axis's independently.

Enter the PSX Dual Analog/Shock controller. Aside from being a fairly comfortable controller, it helped usher in a newer design to the analog stick: a circular movement zone. This made movements easier for the player, but added a headache to devs: while the x/y axis could be fully used at up, down, left, or right, the corners were cut short and only able to use about 80-85% of the total x/y movement. No longer able to simply rely on the x/y coordinates, smarter devs started using math to figure out the angle the stick was rotated at AND the total percentage the stick was pushed in that direction. This way every angle could use 100% of the stick's movement and the game didn't know any better.

Now enter the Unreal engine. Whether by Epic programmers' divine trolling foresight OR by licensing dev stupidity, by default it appears the engine raw reads the x/y axis data from an analog stick. This means that even console games are affected UNLESS the game dev knows to reprogram how the analog stick's data is interpreted.

So how does this affect Arkham Asylum? Well, here are a few things that we can understand:
1. The standard 360/PS3 gamepads use circular motion analog sticks
2. The Unreal engine appears to read the raw x/y data from the analog sticks
3. The raw x/y coordinates on a circular analog stick only report about 85% of the full x/y motion

So for Arkham Asylum this means that using the Left stick to run will only get you full running motion at the + corners of the circle and shortchange you on the X corners of the circle. In terms of the Remote Batarang, this also means that you will not get full steering control at the X corners if you use only one stick. The workaround for this is, since both sticks can be used to control the batarang, to use one stick to control left/right and the other to control up/down. Not all games are affected by this however since most devs have switched to using the newer calculation methods, but it does crop up from time to time. Also, game/console version differences can act differently depending on how the hardware interacts with the controller and how the game accesses the controller data.

Just to note, I also plugged in a 3rd party wired 360 remote (which is reported as some weird name but is recognized by games as a 360 controller on my Win7 x64 PC) and tested out the angles on the analog sticks. Sure enough, while it does get to about 95% full range at the X corners, some of the movement is indeed lost since even the driver doesn't calculate the sticks extension/angle correctly. Using an older PS2 USB controller adapter and a PSX Dual Shock controller reports only 85% movement at the corners, while a really old Logitech wireless controller (Logitech Wingman Cordless), that does indeed have a square analog movement zone, reports full 100% movement at the corners.

=Area Specific Skips=
==Bell Skip==
http://www.twitch.tv/diabuk/c/3257536
http://www.twitch.tv/honorablejay/c/3401030?t=40s
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A-smVVwW-pM

When entering the Arkham Mansion for the first time, by cutting the bell early it's possible to skip everything from the introduction of the shock collar up through the Nightmare 2 sequence.
#From under the bell, climb up to the Chronicles of Arkham
#While looking at the Chronicles tombstone, turn directly to the right, look up, and climb to the ventilation ducts along the wall
#Turn left and climb the last piece to the vent duct (hold duck if Batman tries to walk off the edge)
#Choose the gap to use
*If using the left gap (closer to the bell) stand in the middle of the duct and as far forward as possible
*If using the right gap (just next to the window) stand as far forward and as far right as possible

For the left gap:
#Manually aim a Batarang so the crosshair is roughly in the center of the Tetris-shaped gap, then use the Action Cam to watch the flight (cape-stun button while manually aiming)
#Adjust your aim until the camera follows the Batarang through the gap without getting stuck on the wooden planks
#Switch to the Remote Batarang without adjusting your aim, then throw it
#Just after goes through the gap, angle down and left at the same time
#Once lined up horizontally it's safe to let go of left

For the right gap:
#Manually aim a Batarang so the crosshair is roughly in the intersection the L-shaped crevice in the floor above the window on the wall. If done correctly, Batman's left hand fingertips should be aligned with left hand side of the window outline. As with the left gap, use the Action Cam (R1 or RB on Playstation and Xbox respectively) to watch the batarang path flight. Your initial batarang should pass directly through the intersection of the L-shaped bracket.
#Adjust your aim until the camera follows the Batarang through the gap without getting itself wedged inside the L-shaped plank area
#Switch to the Remote Batarang without adjusting your aim, then throw it. The "Camera Assist" option in the game's settings (which can be disabled) is known to reset the camera here when switching items.
#As soon as the batarang goes through the gap, immediately turn left. If your batarang collides with the wooden planks, you turned too soon or you may need to readjust your angle.
#Your first obstacle is a truss. Too much upper left angling will have you making contact with the top-angled truss. Too much lower left angling will have you making contact with the crossbar portion of the truss. If necessary use both analog sticks to help control your turn
#After you pass through the initial set of trusses, adjust the height of your batarang to make contact with the center of the rope. The batarang must be level and centered with the rope for the rope to be cut. Once your facing the rope at the correct angle, let go of all controls and let the batarang make contact with the rope.

Make sure that the center of the Batarang touches the center of the rope, otherwise the trick will fail. Since the devs designed the bell to be cut by the game's lock-on aiming mechanic, the actual area of the rope that is solid is very thin and only interacts with the center of a Batarang.
For 100%, skipping the bell will happen after entering Dr. Young's office and scanning her fingerprints. If the skip is done before that, then a few sets of Joker teeth will not spawn.

==Gordon's Pipe Skip (Any%/100%)==
After defending the Batmobile, the story expects Batman to scan the area to find Gordon's pipe, which then leads to the Medical Facility. Instead, just go to the Medical Facility's rooftop entrance and continue the game as normal.
==Skip Ivy + Cash (Any%)==
After obtaining the Line Launcher, the game expects Batman to visit Ivy to learn about the Titan cure. Afterwards, the next stop is supposed to be Aaron Cash in the Mansion to learn where Killer Croc's lair is. After those two pieces are done, Batman heads to Intensive Treatment to continue. Both of these side meetings are completely optional and don't need to be completed to gain access to Intensive Treatment.
#Obtain the Line Launcher
#Begin heading out of the Botanical Gardens
#Once in the Abandoned Tunnel (the last room Batman can enter before further progress is halted), bring up the menu and do a Checkpoint Restart
#Leave the Gardens and head for the upper level entrance to Intensive Treatment
100% runs will have to visit both Ivy and Cash to ensure all of the Joker teeth for the Riddler trophies spawn.
==Cutscene Skips (Any%/100%)==
Throughout the game, certain enemies and situations will make use of small in-game cutscenes that will zoom/warp the camera to a specific location to introduce a new gameplay/story element or area hazard. There are a few that can be skipped to save time or activated early to make them play as quickly as possible.
#Intensive Treatment 1: After the first wave of enemies is eliminated, quickly make your way to Boles' corpse before the next wave begins. This will activate the finding Boles cutscene as soon as wave 2 is eliminated.
#Mr. Stun Rod: The first stun rod enemy is introduced immediately after dropping the bell. Catch him with the Batclaw to skip his dialogue.
#Ivy's security guards: When going through the Botanical Gardens to fight Ivy, just before line launching over the pit the game will play a small cutscene showing 2 possessed guards. To skip the camera zooming in, either line launch down the hall to the pit, Batclaw both guards, or Batarang them.
#Camera Warp Cutscenes: Anytime the screen fades out to show a different area of the level, mashing Attack/Cape Stun will skip the cutscene right as it begins.

Piston: /* Hidden Switches */
== Get To The Bank! ==
This is straight-forward. No matter what difficulty, none of the Henchman need to be eliminated, wastes time and webbing. If you're playing on 'Normal' or higher, be sure to collect the web cartridge beyond the second help (?) icon.

== Bank Approach ==
After the in-game cutscene is skipped, point Spider-Man toward the antennae on top of the building in front of you. If you get the correct angle, be sure to cut your swing before getting to the antennae to avoid a softlock (in which you'll clip inside the antennae). Scale the bank building (glass) and keep just to the left of the solid white line. Use the next in-game cutscene to your advantage to see where the Southern-most Thug is standing. Currently the most optimal strategy is: weball forward, diving strike left, webball forward, webball right, diagonal killing blow. For easier reference, please see the videos below. Web cartridge collection is not optimal here.

== Hostage Situation ==
On Kid Mode difficulty, hostages are released by simply entering an event trigger (most commonly entering a room or by speech). On Easy mode, hostages escape if their assailant is subdued or eliminated. On both Easy and Kid Mode, hostages are never threatened or eliminated. On any difficulty Normal or above, all assailants must be killed (to be safe, it is possible to subdue them more than once with a clean escape). Being said, the higher the difficulty, the quicker the trigger finger of the Thugs. On Easy and Kid Mode, the buttons in the Control Room can be activated in any order. On Normal or above, Door ONE must be opened first before #2 and #3. The web cartridge in the control room is a fantastic pickup for farming web, given that you are free to move around during the in-game cutscenes initiated from the Control Room.
== Stop The Bomb! ==
This level introduces the first sequence break (known as 'Hostage Skip') in the game. The following trick is only consistent on Easy and Kid Mode difficulties. The hostages in the first area do not need to be freed. Swing past all hostages and thugs and zip-line to the vent (or advance to the next door if on Kid Mode) and stand before the 2nd 'SECURITY' door. Use the 'Jump' and 'Swing' commands to stick yourself to the wall multiple times just before the door. After successfully clipping, the bomb scene will play. You'll notice the safe/vault door is missing, you need not to activate the button that opens the safe, only activate it after the bomb is inside the safe. Video reference just below:
{{#ev:youtube|bGiOP_KbeL4}}
== Race To The Bugle ==
Another straight-forward stage. When approaching the building with the two Henchman atop ("The sooner we find Spider-Man, the sooner the boss pays us!"), disregard climbing and instead leap left and swing to the next building (upper-left) and use your quick-zip to reach the lower story.
== Spidey vs. Scorpion! ==
The first boss fight of the game presents you with arguably the most difficult trick in the run: "Scorpion Skip". The most precise form of this skip was found by 'Abahbob' (http://www.twitch.tv/abahbob/c/2769971) that involves very precise play. Luckily, going for this particular version of Scorpion Skip during the run actually costs you nothing, so just go for it! In the case that you do not get it, never fear! Keep on eye on Jameson, you must know where he is at all times. The greatest possible area Jameson can flee to is the corner between the television and the sofa. Your primary goal is to have Scorpion and a solid object between Jameson. Punches and kicks are most effective here. If you're playing on Kid Mode and Easy, you're safe to use Web Spikes as well.
== Police Chopper Chase ==
Follow the intended route here.
== Missile Attack ==
Zipline is used heavily here. See one of the videos below for the appropriate areas to release-and-zip.
== Building Top Chase ==
Follow the intended route here.
== Scale The Girders ==
There are two routes for this short level. Scaling the girder about face is the most common (sticking to the left-most side of the column will keep you immune to the gunner's range). The alternative route involves scaling the right side of the structure, RAZ'ing to the top of the crane. Beware of 'Spidey-Sudoku' here.
== Police Evaded ==
Follow the intended route here.
== Spidey vs. Rhino! ==
'Vega4993' strategy (hand-to-hand with Rhino) is fastest here. Otherwise, you need to fight Rhino the intended way.
== Catch Venom ==
Following the intended route with swing-cuts. If you're not playing on the PC version, be prepared to deal with whatever auto-path glitch the game deals you after the in-game pursuit scene. N64 players hope you're not dealt the instant death outcome.
== Spidey vs. Venom! ==
First off, grab the web cartridge in the corner (especially if you're playing on Normal or Hard). For Kid Mode and Easy, feed Venom your Web Spikes. If you're playing on Normal, hit Venom from a distance with impact webbing, don't worry about your web count.
== Sewer Entrace ==
The sewer brings on a new movement strategy. The dwellings don't allow for swinging, so stick to short sporadic jumps to move quickly. Running normally will expose you to the Lizardmen's range attack. When jumping from pipe to pipe, only one directional input should be used.
== Sewer Cavern ==
Swing-cutting through the pipes can be difficult at first for most players at first, with a bit of practice its no problem. Hitting the water will cancel your momentum, so avoid it at all costs. An example video can be found here: http://www.twitch.tv/p1ston/c/2964450
== Subway ==
The subway is a great place to farm web cartridges. Your only requirement here is to survive and not fall off the train. Go ahead and laugh, you'll fall off the subway one of these days.
== Sewage Plant ==
Farm the two web cartridges if you're on Normal. When approaching the end gate before the clip, make to sure to jump over the initial trigger. There's no way to skip the short scene but this help to avoid the path of the Lizardmen you passed. (Video coming soon).
== Hidden Switches ==
If you're playing on N64 or PC, follow the intended route. If you're playing on the Playstation version, perform the Hidden Switches skip. Refer to the video below (courtesy of 'Bonesaw577')
{{#ev:youtube|7gfmR6RXDt8}}
== Tunnel Crawl ==
If you're playing on Kid Mode, remember the water does not rise in the tunnel.
== Venom's Puzzle ==
If you're playing on Kid Mode, you don't need to enter Targeting Mode to hit the proper buttons.
== The Lizard's Maze ==
Follow the intended route. If you're on Kid Mode, make sure to hesitate until Venom disappears before proceeding to the grading.
== Spidey vs. Venom Again! ==
If you're on Normal or above, stick to Impact Webbing just as you did in the first Venom fight. As for Kid Mode and Easy, this is a WYSIWYG fight. For more details, see the Boss Index.
== Symbiotes Infest Bugle ==
Follow the intended route here.
== Elevator Descent ==
After the 2nd symbiote floor is broken, leap forward and hold the forward directional button to automatically cling to the bottom of the door.
== Stop The Presses! ==
Follow the intended route here.
== Bugle's Basement ==
Follow the intended route here.
== Spidey vs. Mysterio! ==
This is not the place for farming web cartridges. Resist the urge. If you're on Normal, start from chest to waist to knee. Ideally by the time you get to his knees he'll be summoning his illusions.
== Waterfront Warehouse ==
Waterfront Warehouse presents you with the most difficult trick in the game. This trick is difficult to describe, so its best to see it being performed: ( http://www.twitch.tv/abahbob/c/2192374 ). So far, this trick is easiest on the Playstation, while being complete and utter misery on the PC version.
== Underwater Trench ==
This is an excellent place for web cartridge farming for you Normal and above players. Using the catwalk or laser platforms are almost equal in navigation and travel. Swing like no tomorrow.
== Stopping The Fog ==
C-A-B and C-B-A are both options here. C-A-B has an unfortunate swing through some fog which can clip you if you're not careful.
== Spidey vs. Doc Ock! ==
Use impact webbing when his shields are down. If you happen to get lucky on web cartridges, farm them.
== Spidey vs. Carnage! ==
Carnage has two possible beginnings that are random. The first is pursuit, simply where he comes to you. The second is a ranged attack, which is terrible. If you're on Kid Mode or Easy, you can simply leap into the Sonic Bubble and Web Yank Carnage into the bubble. If you're on Normal or above hope that Carnage likes you as you to corral him into the Sonic Bubble.
== Spidey vs. Monster Ock! ==
You've been swing-cutting, sticky-swinging, and quick-zipping all for this moment. Time to put into practice. Be cautious of the level changes as the game lags a little bit. This could possibly cause you to stick to walls.

== Get To The Bank! ==
This is straight-forward. No matter what difficulty, none of the Henchman need to be eliminated, wastes time and webbing. If you're playing on 'Normal' or higher, be sure to collect the web cartridge beyond the second help (?) icon.

== Bank Approach ==

== Hostage Situation ==
== Stop The Bomb! ==
{{#ev:youtube|bGiOP_KbeL4}}
== Spidey vs. Scorpion! ==
== Police Chopper Chase ==
Follow the intended route here.
== Missile Attack ==
Zipline is used heavily here. See one of the videos below for the appropriate areas to release-and-zip.
== Building Top Chase ==
Follow the intended route here.
== Scale The Girders ==
== Police Evaded ==
Follow the intended route here.
== Spidey vs. Rhino! ==
'Vega4993' strategy (hand-to-hand with Rhino) is fastest here. Otherwise, you need to fight Rhino the intended way.
== Catch Venom ==
Following the intended route with swing-cuts. If you're not playing on the PC version, be prepared to deal with whatever auto-path glitch the game deals you after the in-game pursuit scene. N64 players hope you're not dealt the instant death outcome.
== Spidey vs. Venom! ==
First off, grab the web cartridge in the corner (especially if you're playing on Normal or Hard). For Kid Mode and Easy, feed Venom your Web Spikes. If you're playing on Normal, hit Venom from a distance with impact webbing, don't worry about your web count.
== Sewer Entrace ==
The sewer brings on a new movement strategy. The dwellings don't allow for swinging, so stick to short sporadic jumps to move quickly. Running normally will expose you to the Lizardmen's range attack. When jumping from pipe to pipe, only one directional input should be used.
== Sewer Cavern ==
Swing-cutting through the pipes can be difficult at first for most players at first, with a bit of practice its no problem. Hitting the water will cancel your momentum, so avoid it at all costs. An example video can be found here: http://www.twitch.tv/p1ston/c/2964450
== Subway ==
The subway is a great place to farm web cartridges. Your only requirement here is to survive and not fall off the train. Go ahead and laugh, you'll fall off the subway one of these days.
== Sewage Plant ==
Farm the two web cartridges if you're on Normal. When approaching the end gate before the clip, make to sure to jump over the initial trigger. There's no way to skip the short scene but this help to avoid the path of the Lizardmen you passed. (Video coming soon).
== Hidden Switches ==
If you're playing on N64 or PC, follow the intended route. If you're playing on the Playstation version, perform the Hidden Switches skip. Refer to the video below (courtesy of 'Bonesaw577'
{{#ev:youtube|7gfmR6RXDt8}}
== Tunnel Crawl ==
If you're playing on Kid Mode, remember the water does not rise in the tunnel.
== Venom's Puzzle ==
If you're playing on Kid Mode, you don't need to enter Targeting Mode to hit the proper buttons.
== The Lizard's Maze ==
== Symbiotes Infest Bugle ==
Follow the intended route here.
== Elevator Descent ==
After the 2nd symbiote floor is broken, leap forward and hold the forward directional button to automatically cling to the bottom of the door.
== Stop The Presses! ==
Follow the intended route here.
== Bugle's Basement ==
Follow the intended route here.
== Spidey vs. Mysterio! ==
This is not the place for farming web cartridges. Resist the urge. If you're on Normal, start from chest to waist to knee. Ideally by the time you get to his knees he'll be summoning his illusions.
== Waterfront Warehouse ==
== Underwater Trench ==
This is an excellent place for web cartridge farming for you Normal and above players. Using the catwalk or laser platforms are almost equal in navigation and travel. Swing like no tomorrow.
== Stopping The Fog ==
C-A-B and C-B-A are both options here. C-A-B has an unfortunate swing through some fog which can clip you if you're not careful.
== Spidey vs. Doc Ock! ==
Use impact webbing when his shields are down. If you happen to get lucky on web cartridges, farm them.
== Spidey vs. Carnage! ==

This is straight-forward. No matter what difficulty, none of the Henchman need to be eliminated, wastes time and webbing. If you're playing on 'Normal' or higher, be sure to collect the web cartridge beyond the second help (?) icon.

== Bank Approach ==

== Hostage Situation ==
== Stop The Bomb! ==
{{#ev:youtube|bGiOP_KbeL4}}
== Spidey vs. Scorpion! ==
== Police Chopper Chase ==
Follow the intended route here.
== Missile Attack ==
Zipline is used heavily here. See one of the videos below for the appropriate areas to release-and-zip.
== Building Top Chase ==
Follow the intended route here.
== Scale The Girders ==
== Police Evaded ==
Follow the intended route here.
== Spidey vs. Rhino! ==
'Vega4993' strategy (hand-to-hand with Rhino) is fastest here. Otherwise, you need to fight Rhino the intended way.
== Catch Venom ==
Following the intended route with swing-cuts. If you're not playing on the PC version, be prepared to deal with whatever auto-path glitch the game deals you after the in-game pursuit scene. N64 players hope you're not dealt the instant death outcome.
== Spidey vs. Venom! ==
First off, grab the web cartridge in the corner (especially if you're playing on Normal or Hard). For Kid Mode and Easy, feed Venom your Web Spikes. If you're playing on Normal, hit Venom from a distance with impact webbing, don't worry about your web count.
== Sewer Entrace ==
The sewer brings on a new movement strategy. The dwellings don't allow for swinging, so stick to short sporadic jumps to move quickly. Running normally will expose you to the Lizardmen's range attack. When jumping from pipe to pipe, only one directional input should be used.
== Sewer Cavern ==
Swing-cutting through the pipes can be difficult at first for most players at first, with a bit of practice its no problem. Hitting the water will cancel your momentum, so avoid it at all costs. An example video can be found here: http://www.twitch.tv/p1ston/c/2964450
== Subway ==
The subway is a great place to farm web cartridges. Your only requirement here is to survive and not fall off the train. Go ahead and laugh, you'll fall off the subway one of these days.
== Sewage Plant ==
Farm the two web cartridges if you're on Normal. When approaching the end gate before the clip, make to sure to jump over the initial trigger. There's no way to skip the short scene but this help to avoid the path of the Lizardmen you passed. (Video coming soon).
== Hidden Switches ==
If you're playing on N64 or PC, follow the intended route. If you're playing on the Playstation version, perform the Hidden Switches skip. Refer to the video below (courtesy of 'Bonesaw577'
{{#ev:youtube|7gfmR6RXDt8}}
== Tunnel Crawl ==
If you're playing on Kid Mode, remember the water does not rise in the tunnel.
== Venom's Puzzle ==
If you're playing on Kid Mode, you don't need to enter Targeting Mode to hit the proper buttons.
== The Lizard's Maze ==
== Symbiotes Infest Bugle ==
Follow the intended route here.
== Elevator Descent ==
After the 2nd symbiote floor is broken, leap forward and hold the forward directional button to automatically cling to the bottom of the door.
== Stop The Presses! ==
Follow the intended route here.
== Bugle's Basement ==
Follow the intended route here.
== Spidey vs. Mysterio! ==
This is not the place for farming web cartridges. Resist the urge. If you're on Normal, start from chest to waist to knee. Ideally by the time you get to his knees he'll be summoning his illusions.
== Waterfront Warehouse ==
== Underwater Trench ==
This is an excellent place for web cartridge farming for you Normal and above players. Using the catwalk or laser platforms are almost equal in navigation and travel. Swing like no tomorrow.
== Stopping The Fog ==
C-A-B and C-B-A are both options here. C-A-B has an unfortunate swing through some fog which can clip you if you're not careful.
== Spidey vs. Doc Ock! ==
Use impact webbing when his shields are down. If you happen to get lucky on web cartridges, farm them.
== Spidey vs. Carnage! ==

Piston:
== Get To The Bank! ==
This is straight-forward. No matter what difficulty, none of the Henchman need to be eliminated, wastes time and webbing. If you're playing on 'Normal' or higher, be sure to collect the web cartridge beyond the second help (?) icon.

== Bank Approach ==

== Hostage Situation ==
== Stop The Bomb! ==
{{#ev:youtube|bGiOP_KbeL4}}
== Spidey vs. Scorpion! ==
Under construction...

Below is the quickest route to beat the game. Six golden frogs are needed to complete the game. Five golden frogs are needed to open the Tropical Zone, which is required to complete the game.

RTA (Real Time Attack) timing begins when the player selects Retro Zone 1.1. SDA (Speed Demos Archive) timing begins when you take control of Frogger for the first time. Timing ends when you touch the Gold Frog in ''Tropical Trouble''.

For reference, refer to [http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL860NZgLYayqyGdh3Yx_HbP09iWISgUPl CaneofPacci's Individual Levels Playlist]

== Retro Zone (1.1 through 1.5) ==
The Retro Zone consists of alligator mouths, snakes, beavers, and traffic as hazards to Frogger. The Gold Frog needed to unlock a new zone appears in Retro Zone 5, sitting on the first row of logs beyond the road.

== Tree Zone ==

'''3.1 Honey Bee Hollow''' - Obtain all five frogs. For more on the behaviour of the bees, refer to the Game Mechanics page.

'''3.2 Canopy Capers''' - Obtain the Gold Frog.

== Mechanical Zone ==

'''4.1 Scorching Switches''' - is a very brief level that is required for Any%. As in Retro Zone 5, the main objective of this level is to obtain the Gold Frog.

== Bat/Cave Zone ==

'''5.1 Dark Dark Cavern''' - Obtain all five frogs.

'''5.2 Frogger Goes Skiing''' - Obtain all five frogs. For optimum sight, the furthest frog (Green) is obtained first. After each respawn of Frogger (death or frog capture), the light around the player grows dimmer with a smaller diameter of sight. Due to the speed of the final three spiders, it is preferred by speedrunners to work in descending order of travel length.

'''5.3 Webs Cavern''' - Obtain the Gold Frog.

== Sewer Zone ==

'''7.1 Bang Bang Barrel''' - Obtain all five frogs. For more on the mechanics of the dipping barrels before the Green frog, see the Game Mechanics page.

'''7.2 Slime Sliding''' - Obtain all five frogs. For more on the "drip", see the Game Mechanics page.

'''7.3 Uncanny Crusher''' - Obtain the Gold Frog.

== Tropical Zone ==

'''9.1 Tropical Trouble''' - Obtain all five frogs. After the brief door opening cutscene, touch the Gold Frog inside.
